It’s time to add in characters! You’ll learn the basics of creating charming characters that have strong poses and forms. You’ll start the week with the basics, then play around with stylizing your characters in fun ways.

It’s time for another Focus Week where you can spend some time really digging into those projects we’ve given you. You’ll have some more bonus content that focuses on what it’s like working as an animator with boards from another person, and what you can do as an Illustrator to make it easier for your animator friends.

There are a lot of different styles of Illustration out there. This week you’ll be exploring what it’s like to change a style that’s already been set by another artist. You’ll also work on creating artwork that has a very specific mood and feel to it.
